Space Club is a flexible STEM curriculum that works great for an enrichment program or integrated into a science course or STEM elective. Space Club curriculum is intended for grades 4th - 8th. Training includes access to Launchpad a new version of Space Club for K - 3rd graders!

In 2014, an aerospace engineer left an industry job to join a nonprofit on a mission to keep kids in school. Working with Title I schools in San Antonio, she founded Space Club on the belief that the wonders of the night sky capture all kids.

Despite warnings that middle school kids don't go to science clubs, over 60 students packed inside a tiny portable for the first Space Club meeting. That first year, administrators watched in amazement as students launched rockets, designed a colony on Mars, and even deployed a weather balloon to 100,000 feet!

I can't believe we just launched a rocket! I never thought I was a STEM person, but now anything seems possible. –  Space Club 7th grader in San Antonio, Texas

To sustain these efforts, a volunteer board of directors established the Cosmic Leap Foundation as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in March 2023. An experienced advisory board of Space Club educators and industry partners supports these efforts.
